- CLASS 501 - October 28th! Here at Fairlawn, we offer Next Steps Classes. These classes are designed to offer you an understanding of who we are as a church, what we believe in, and we also offer the tools you could use to grow in your faith. The fifth and last of these classes is Class 501. In this class, you’ll discover why disciple making is an important part of your life as a believer. Class 501 will be offered on Monday May 20th, from 6 – 8pm. Sign up in the lobby on the connect counter, if you would like to attend.
- Veterans Wall of Honor - October 27th - November 10th - If you or a family have served our country in the military, we would like to honor you in our upcoming Veterans Services. We will have a Wall of Honor that will display all these people that have served. Please bring your photograph to the church to be displayed. Please make sure the photo is labeled if you need it back. Questions may be directed to Tom Reed, treed2960@gmail.com
- Trunk or Treat - October 30th—This is always a big outreach event to our community, so we're hoping for lots of decorated trunks! If you'd like to decorate a trunk, please sign up on the Connect counter in the church lobby!
- Veterans Appreciation Weekend - We are inviting Veterans or Active Military and a guest to join us for a special Veterans Dinner on November 9th starting at 5PM. We will offer a turkey dinner and Max Furman, retired Chaplain, will be speaking. Please register by November 2nd to reserve your seat. The meal and event are compliments of Fairlawn Community Church, as a small token of our gratitude for your service. Please join us as well the next morning, November 10th, during our regular services as we honor our veterans. - Join us on November 30th for our Ladies Christmas Tea event. We have the theme of "Christmess", and we have a place at the table for you. Come, bring a friend, and enjoy a time to remember the "reason of the season" - JESUS! This is an event open to all women. We are always delighted when you bring finger food to share, but your presence is what we truly desire. See you there!
